Star Touring & Riding is an international organization
created to serve and unite owners and enthusiasts of the
Yamaha Star line of motorcycles. We are dedicated to creating a safe and
friendly atmosphere and riding environment so that everyone
feels welcome to join and ride.
As the, "Official STAR Organization of Yamaha Motor Corp.," STAR is a non-political, non-confrontational association. Its main focus is on family, fun, camaraderie and RIDING. All brands of motorcycles are welcome! Comprised of just under 40,000 members and over 200 chapters, STAR recognizes safety as a first priority. The STAR community is a mix of riders with varied riding experiences. Chapter rides follow the highway laws and limits, to keep everyone as safe as possible. We want to see you back safely for the next ride. If you are looking for a family motorcycle association, with a lot of pride, spirit and camaraderie without the "attitude" you have found the right organization.

Star Touring and Riding Association
was granted on May 14, 2003.
Our chapter meetings are generally held the first Sunday of every month at 1PM at Victory Lane Powersports in Swansea, Illinois. Occasionally, we have to reschedule our meetings to accomidate holidays. Our meeting location and meeting times will always be posted on our calendar. Meetings are followed by a group ride when weather is permitting. We also have monthly planned rides led by a member of the chapter. In March of 2004, Victory Lane Powersports, in Swansea, officially became our chapter sponsor.
Chapter 275 consists of a wonderful group of people, young and old, who enjoy good riding, good food, and best of all family and friends. Of course, we have a sense of humor, just look at our member profiles. Just Kidding. (BTW, the above sign was seen by several of our members en route to Star Days 2005. It was a hoot, hope you can join us on our many rides and activities in the coming months). Enjoy your visit to our website.
